I'm Ellen Almond
Hello Lovelies !
My name is Ellen Almond and I am so excited for you to be here! I have decided to take my hobby to the next level and become a full-time photographer!
I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Speech Communications in 2018 and got my Masters of Arts in Communications in 2019.
I married the love of my life in 2021 and we adopted the sweetest puppy named Pepper. We moved to Oahu, Hawaii in 2022 and love exploring this beautiful island we get to call home.
My biggest struggle in life was always finding something I was extremely passionate about. Once I started taking pictures of friends and family I knew I found that something. Making people feel comfortable in front of the camera and feeling confident is something I strive for in every session!

MY STORY
Let Me Tell You
Something you might not know about me is that I have moved about 12 times in my life and I don't see myself settling down in one place just yet! My father was in the Air Force and moved the family around about 9 times before he retired. Then I met my husband who is in the Marine Corps, so staying in one place is a crazy concept to me!
I have two older sisters who are twins and both have Autism. My mom is Wonder Woman AND an airline Pilot. My dad wasn't suited for the retirement life so he is currently a CEO at a cellular company. They are the ones who shaped me into who I am today and who I strive to be in the future.
I met my husband, Andrew, in 2018 when I was starting my Masters Degree in Virginia while he was stated in North Carolina. We were long distance until we got married in 2021. We now have a wonderfully-psychotic doggo named Pepper! We eventually want to have kids, but for now we are happy with our little family and traveling around the Hawaiian Islands!
When I was younger I wanted to be a princess, when I got a little bit older I wanted to be a teacher, in college I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to do (I changed my major 2 days into my freshman year lol). I knew I wanted to work with people, make a positive difference in their life some how. So I decided on communications. I worked a few corporate jobs. When I moved to Hawaii and saw how beautiful the island is and the people are, I knew I needed to capture that. Photography was the obvious choice.
I am still learning how to be the best photographer, and person, I can be. But I'm so excited to have you guys on this journey with me!
